Clinician-led longevity

Privacy Policy

How we handle your information.

Effective May 5, 2026 · Last updated June 9, 2026

the edit. ("the edit.," "we," "our," "us") operates this website for our clinician-led telehealth longevity practice. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. Plain English, no fine print.

Who we are

the edit. is operated by The Edit Health LLC, a Texas limited liability company functioning as a management services organization (MSO). The Edit Health LLC does not practice medicine; clinical care is provided by an affiliated independent medical practice, Arora Health & Aesthetics, LLC.

For privacy questions, contact us at legal@theedithealth.com.

What we collect

This website does not have a sign-up or intake form. We do not collect names, contact details, or health information through this site. When you begin care, clinical intake takes place inside our HIPAA-covered clinical platform, separately from this site (see below).

If you email us or contact us directly, we receive whatever you choose to send (for example, your name, email address, and the content of your message). Our hosting providers also automatically log standard technical details (device, browser, approximate region from IP, and timestamps) to deliver and secure the site.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, government IDs, payment cards, or medical records on the website. We do not collect protected health information (PHI) on the website.

What we do with it

  • Respond to you. If you contact us, we use your information to reply and provide support.
  • Operate and secure the site. We use technical logs to deliver the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.
  • Comply with the law. We retain records as required for tax, regulatory, and audit purposes.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Email and SMS communications

If you provide a phone number and consent to receive text messages from us, message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You may also opt out of email communications by using the unsubscribe link in any message or by contacting legal@theedithealth.com.

Where it lives

This website is delivered through Vercel Inc. in the United States. Any message you send us by email is stored in our business email and productivity systems. These vendors act as data processors under our instruction. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS).

Cookies and analytics

This site uses minimal first-party functional storage required to render the site (for example, persisting that you accepted our terms before submitting). We do not run third-party advertising trackers. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and seek consent where required.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights including:

  • The right to know what we have about you
  • The right to request a complete copy of your data
  • The right to correct it
  • The right to delete it
  • The right to opt out of any sale or sharing (we don't sell or share, but the right exists)
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights

To exercise any of these rights, email legal@theedithealth.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by your jurisdiction. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Tennessee, Indiana, and other state privacy law residents have parallel rights. Washington residents covered by the My Health My Data Act have specific rights regarding consumer health data.

Health-adjacent information

This website does not collect medical conditions, diagnoses, or other health information. If you become a member, your clinical record (history, labs, prescriptions) is held inside our HIPAA-covered clinical platform under a separate Notice of Privacy Practices, not under this policy.

Children

This site and the membership are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

Retention

We retain messages you send us and standard technical logs for a reasonable period, in line with our recordkeeping and legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time by emailing the address above.

Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and least-privilege database policies. No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify affected individuals within 72 hours of confirming the breach, by email or other reasonable means. The notice will describe what happened, what data was involved, and the steps we recommend you take.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the practice evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to members and posted at the top of this page with a revised effective date.
