How to take it

Your treatment, step by step.

Most of our protocols are simple you-do-it-at-home formats: a quick subcutaneous injection or a nasal spray. Choose your format below and follow along, start to finish.

This is a general guide. Always follow the specific instructions from your clinician and the leaflet that ships with your medication. When in doubt, message your care team through your portal.

Getting started
Follow along by format.
Where to inject
Rotate between soft-tissue sites.

Choose a spot with enough soft tissue and stay at least two inches from your last injection to protect your skin over time.

01

Abdomen

At least 2 inches from your navel, avoiding scars.

02

Outer thigh

The fleshy front and outer area, midway down.

03

Back of upper arm

The soft area behind the upper arm (easier with help).

04

Upper glute

The upper outer quarter, alternating sides each dose.

Keep it safe
A few rules that matter.
Rotate every time
Reusing the same spot can irritate or harden the skin over time.
One needle, once
Never reuse or share needles. Always use a fresh one, into a sharps container.
Store as directed
Keep refrigerated as labeled and never freeze your medication.
Mild soreness is normal
Slight redness or a small bruise can happen and usually fades quickly.
Call if something's wrong
Severe swelling, a spreading rash, trouble breathing, or signs of infection: seek care right away.
Your team is one message away
Not sure about anything? Message your clinician through your portal before you dose.
