Getting started.
What is The Edit?
The Edit is a telehealth service for weight and wellness care. Treatments are prescribed only when appropriate for you, and weight-focused treatments are used to support weight management as part of a plan that includes a reduced-calorie diet and regular exercise.
Clinical care comes from licensed providers at Arora Health & Aesthetics, LLC, the affiliated medical practice. Prescriptions are filled by The Pharmacy Hub, a licensed U.S. pharmacy, and shipped directly to your door.
How does the process work?
You start with a short online questionnaire about your health history, goals, and current medications. A licensed provider in your state reviews your answers and decides whether treatment is appropriate for you.
If you are approved, your prescription goes to The Pharmacy Hub and ships to your home in temperature-controlled two-day packaging. From there, your care continues through secure messaging in the member portal at my.theedithealth.com.
If you are not approved, you are not charged.
Do I need to see a doctor in person?
No. The entire process happens online, from your questionnaire through ongoing check-ins with your care team.
Every intake is reviewed by a licensed provider in your state. If your provider needs more information before making a decision, they will reach out through the member portal.
Is The Edit available in my state?
The Edit is available in all 50 U.S. states, through affiliated medical providers and pharmacy partners licensed in each jurisdiction. Availability for your specific address and prescribed treatment is verified during your consultation.
What happens if I am not approved?
You receive a full refund. Providers prescribe only when treatment is appropriate for you, so you never pay for care you do not receive.
If you have questions about a decision, you can reach the team at hello@theedithealth.com.
Do I need insurance?
No. The Edit does not accept insurance, and you do not need it. There are no claims to file, no coverage checks, and no prior authorizations standing between you and care.
Medical care.
Who reviews my health questionnaire?
Licensed providers at Arora Health & Aesthetics, LLC, the affiliated medical practice. Your reviewer is licensed in your state and evaluates your health history, goals, and current medications before making a decision.
If treatment is not appropriate for you, you will not be prescribed, and you are not charged.
Is compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide the same as the brand-name medications?
No. Semaglutide is the active ingredient in FDA-approved Ozempic and Wegovy, and tirzepatide is the active ingredient in FDA-approved Mounjaro and Zepbound. Compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for those products.
Talk with your provider about which option is appropriate for you.
How do I give myself an injection?
Injectable treatments use a small needle placed just under the skin, called a subcutaneous injection. The needles are small and the technique is straightforward to learn.
A step-by-step guide is available in our how to inject guide. If anything is unclear, message your care team through the member portal at my.theedithealth.com before your first dose.
What should I do if I have side effects?
For mild or non-urgent side effects, message your provider through the secure portal at my.theedithealth.com. They can walk you through next steps and adjust your plan if needed.
For serious side effects, contact your provider through the portal right away. For anything that feels like an emergency, call 911. Telehealth is not a substitute for emergency care.
How do I reach my provider or care team?
Through secure messaging in the member portal at my.theedithealth.com. Your care team reads and responds through the same secure channel.
For urgent medical situations, do not wait for a portal reply. Call 911.
Can my treatment plan change over time?
Yes. If you are approved, your provider decides how long your prescription runs, up to six months, with refills authorized within that period. Your provider oversees your care throughout, and when a change is clinically appropriate, they can adjust your plan.
If something feels off, or you want to talk through a change, send a message through the portal. That conversation is part of your care, not an extra.
Orders and shipping.
Where does my medication come from?
Every prescription is filled by The Pharmacy Hub, a licensed U.S. pharmacy, and shipped directly to your door.
How is my order shipped?
Treatments ship in temperature-controlled packaging with two-day delivery, so temperature-sensitive medications stay protected in transit.
When your order arrives, follow the storage instructions that come with your medication. If you have any questions about handling or storage, message your care team through the portal.
Will people know what is in the box?
No. Orders arrive in unmarked boxes, so nothing on the outside indicates what is inside. Your health decisions stay yours.
How do refills work?
If your provider prescribes a multi-month course, refills are automated within that period, so your medication ships on schedule without you having to reorder each time.
You can cancel anytime under the cancellation policy. Manage your plan in the member portal at my.theedithealth.com, or email hello@theedithealth.com.
What if my order is late, lost, or arrives damaged?
Reach out through the member portal or email hello@theedithealth.com and the team will help sort it out.
If your medication looks damaged or compromised, do not use it. Message your care team first and they will tell you how to proceed.
How do I track my order?
Order and shipping information is available in the member portal at my.theedithealth.com. If you cannot find what you need, email hello@theedithealth.com and the team will check on it for you.
Billing, refunds, and cancellation.
Do you accept insurance?
No, and you do not need it. The Edit does not bill insurance, so there are no claims or coverage checks. Your treatments are FSA/HSA eligible, and you can submit your receipt for reimbursement.
What if I am not approved for treatment?
You receive a full refund. You are never left paying for a treatment a provider did not approve you for.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel anytime under the cancellation policy. Manage your plan in the member portal at my.theedithealth.com, or email hello@theedithealth.com and the team will take care of it.
How does billing work with an ongoing prescription?
Your plan follows the prescription length your provider authorizes, up to six months, with refills automated within that period. Your plan details are available in the member portal at my.theedithealth.com.
For questions about a specific charge or statement, email hello@theedithealth.com.
Can I get a refund after my order ships?
You receive a full refund if a provider does not approve you for treatment. For safety reasons, prescription medications generally cannot be returned once shipped; see our refund policy for the details.
If there is a problem with an order you received, contact hello@theedithealth.com and the team will review it with you.
Account and privacy.
How do I access the member portal?

If you have trouble signing in, email hello@theedithealth.com and the team will help you get back in.
How do I reset my password?
You can manage your sign-in details through the member portal at my.theedithealth.com. If you are locked out or need a hand, email hello@theedithealth.com.
How do I update my shipping address or personal information?
Manage your details in the member portal at my.theedithealth.com, or email hello@theedithealth.com and the team will update them for you.
If a refill is shipping soon, reach out as early as you can so the change is in place before your next order goes out.
Is my health information private?
Yes. Your care runs through a licensed medical practice and a licensed U.S. pharmacy, and your health information is protected under applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA.
Your information is shared only with those involved in your care, such as your provider and the pharmacy filling your prescription. Full details are in the privacy policy.
Are my conversations with my provider secure?
Yes. All care conversations happen through secure messaging in the member portal at my.theedithealth.com.
Keep treatment questions inside the portal rather than regular email so your health details stay protected.
How do I close my account?
Email hello@theedithealth.com and the team will walk you through it. You can cancel your plan anytime under the cancellation policy.
Note that certain medical records must be retained for the period required by law, even after an account is closed.
